A Little Bit About Kellie

Welcome! I'm thrilled to have you here.

I’m a proud mom of two energetic boys, aged 4 and 7, and we call St. Louis, MO our home. When I'm not busy with my children, you’ll often find me soaking up the vibrant atmosphere at local festivals or savoring delicious meals at our city’s fantastic restaurants – I have a serious love for great food! My passion for exploring new cultures takes me beyond borders; one of my dreams is to live abroad for at least six months each year.

With a solid background in real estate, I initially ventured into coaching by helping people build successful midterm rental businesses. Teaching others to generate income through real estate felt natural for me, given my expertise in the field. But deep down, I knew my true calling was much more profound. I felt a powerful urge to uplift other women by sharing my personal journey, though initially, the idea of opening up online was intimidating.

Over time, my passion for making a deeper, more meaningful impact grew stronger. That's when I embraced my calling and trained to become a certified Transformational Practitioner. Today, I’m dedicated to transforming women’s mindsets around hair loss. Losing my hair in my twenties was a defining chapter in my life, filled with a range of emotions and challenges. This experience wasn't just a hardship; it was the preparation I needed to truly empathize and connect with other women facing similar struggles. And believe me, I have some stories to share.

I believe everything happens for a reason, and my journey has equipped me to support others through their own. Whether you’re dealing with hair loss due to medical treatments, alopecia, hereditary factors, hormonal imbalances, or even an injury, I’m here to help rebuild your spirit and restore your confidence. My mission is to empower you to step out into the world with your head held high and a radiant attitude that celebrates your stunning beauty, no matter how you choose to wear your hair—or if you choose to wear it at all.

Thank you for visiting. Let’s embark on this transformative journey together.

My Hair Loss Journey

I spent the following years styling my hair naturally to cover up my bald or thin spots. Whether that was wearing wigs, head wraps, or adding in weave. However, there was a time where I got a hairstyle that ended up taking my hair completely out at the top of my head. My hair stylist tried to cover it up, however all it would have taken was for the wind to blow and my embarrassing bald spot would have been exposed for the world to see.

At this point I said “No More” just cut it off and wear a bald head. So that is what I did. Was it easy to step into the world confidently as a bald woman? No! I was extremely insecure although I held my head high. I got the stares, the ignorant comments, the acts of concern (because people thought I had Cancer); and on top of that I thought I looked like a man and everyone else did too, which was further from the truth. My bald head lasted a few short months before I started rocking wigs and weave on a daily basis. I wasn’t confident enough to boldly walk through society as a beautiful bald woman.

The following years I strictly wore wigs and weaves until I finally got tired of the maintenance and the measures that I was taking to hide my baldness. I had to make sure my wig was secure at all times, making sure bald spots wouldn’t show, figuring out swimming without my wig lifting or floating away, and etc. I finally got tired of hiding and was ready to be free and confident to be me.

To be clear, I had taken several measures to get my hair to grow back before I reached this point. So let me run down the list because I’m sure this will resonate with many of you.

I went to a dermatologist and was told I have Cicatricial Alopecia, “Scarring Alopecia”. This is when your hair follicles die, so there is no coming back. However, I was in denial and I thought there was still something I could do to cover my baldness permanently.

I went to a hair replacement / transplant company to have my hair follicles removed from the back of my head to the bald areas. I was then told I wasn’t a good candidate and that I would be wasting my money because the transplanted follicle would just die.

I tried natural remedies like using certain essential oils to stimulate hair growth. I actually would put an onion on my bald spots every night trying to get some growth.

I cut my hair short and used hair fibers to cover my spots. It just never really looked natural.

Finally came the time for me to STOP covering up and be authentically me. However this time was different, it had been 7 years since the first time I shaved my head. I had grown, matured, been through a traumatic experience and I was ready for a fresh start and step into the real me.

I learned about “Micropigmentation”, this is basically a tattoo that creates the illusion that a person has hair in thin or bald spots. I decided to go the route of getting micropigmentation so that I could feel confident being a bald woman. So the darker shading you see on my head is micropigmentation and as you can see it gives the effect that I have a bald fade haircut.

That was it for me and it skyrocketed my confidence as well as a lot of self work, removing negative self talk, no longer holding onto negative experiences that I had when I first shaved my head; I had to stop creating scenario of how people would react to me, and ultimately I had to hold my head up high, walk with confidence, and care less what people thought.

Once I shifted my mindset I started getting smiles and compliments from strangers. My friends and family loved it and would tell me how much I was glowing and how beautiful I looked. I began interpreting stares from people as looks of admiration and acknowledgement of my beauty from afar. The key thing is that when I changed how I looked at myself and the perception of how the world viewed me as a bald woman. My experience changed and I now have NO problem being a confident bald woman in the world.

Now I am ready to help other women experiencing hair loss due to alopecia, cancer, imbalanced hormones, injury, and etc. I want to be a support to help remove your fears and insecurities about being a bald woman and build your confidence. Whether you decide you want to step into your authentic self and rock your bald head every single day of your life; or you want to only wear your bald head sometimes.
